If you want to be able to view graphics files from the desktop, you must
supply a seperate graphics viewing program. There are many excellent viewers
available from shareware dealers or bulletin boards.
First, you are asked to type in the drive and directory path where the
graphics viewer is located. You may use the [Browse,A13] utility to easily
find the directory.
Next, you are asked to enter the parameters that will force the graphics
viewer to view the image you select. To learn which particular parameters
to use with your viewer, read the documentation that came with it, or a
documentation file included with the viewer.
Normally, the only parameter needed is the name of the graphics file to be
viewed. In this case, only type an asterick ('*') in the text input box.
The asterick tells Desk+Plus where to put the filename of the graphic file
to be viewed.
If you are not sure what parameters to include, try the default setting of
just the asterick. If it doesn't work, you will then need to learn what other
parameters to include.
